Pop superstar Ariana Grande headlined the Rift Tour — a three-day virtual concert series inside Fortnite that drew an estimated 27 million attendees. The event ran from August 6 to 8, 2021 and remains one of the most ambitious in-game concerts ever produced.

Twenty One Pilots Concert Experience

Launched on December 30, 2025 on Meta Horizon, this free immersive VR concert experience was produced in partnership with iHeartMedia and filmed at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.

The experience begins with a mysterious invitation that blurs the boundary between dream and reality, transporting viewers through shifting environments — from sprawling offices and abandoned factories to rooftops where pink and red moons coexist.

Premiering in August 2025 in Korea and Japan, the concert expanded to approximately 40 major cities worldwide, including Los Angeles, Mexico City, London, and Shanghai.

Metallica – Apple Immersive Concerts

Metallica, an Apple Immersive concert experience, features the juggernauts of rock-and-roll in the last leg of their 2024 tour, an earth-shattering Mexico City performance featuring all-time classics such as “One”, “Whiplash” and “Enter Sandman” in ultra-high-resolution 180 degree video and spatial audio. This virtual concert premiered March 14, 2025 and is available to view for free on Apple Vision Pro devices. This event is an inventive reimagining of a physical live show, providing fans with VR headsets to combine the deeply communal experience of live shows with transcendently immersive visuals. Filmed in stereoscopic 8K and combined with a high-quality theater soundtrack, this interactive concert aims to bring every TXT fan a deeply personal front-row experience. The concert, facilitated by AmazeVR, premiered in a 2024 five-city tour of the United States and continued into 2025 with tour dates across Europe, Singapore and China.

Shawn Mendes at the Red Rocks Amphitheater

Shawn Mendes’ headline-making performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre made a January 2025 appearance at the Meta Horizon Music Valley virtual concert hall, letting viewers across the globe partake in an immersive VR concert experience.

The event was a collaboration between Meta, Dorsey Pictures, 7 Cinematics and Lightsail VR, and streamed exclusively on Meta Quest platforms.

Tiёsto at the Red Rocks Amphitheater

In another VR hit for the Emmy-nominated venue, Red Rocks Amphitheater hosted EDM legend Tiёsto and released the virtual experience, “Tiësto: Red Rocks Live in VR”, on Meta Quest Platforms in January 2025.

Viewers who plugged in to the VR concert were dazzled by an audiovisual display of lasers, pyrotechnics, projected explosions and, surprisingly, eagles. The performance featured the DJ’s iconic beat drops.
